I love it when something just works. When an idea, a design and the execution fit together seamlessly.

My path was anything but straight. From the Gerrit Rietveld Academie to SAE Institute and the Schrijversacademie, always searching for how to make something not just beautiful, but also understandable.

After years working in the automotive industry (Renault, Pieter Smit) and for clients like the Municipality of Amsterdam (graphic design and communications) and KLM (newsletters and blogs), I noticed something frustrating: I could see exactly what could be better… but I couldn't always build it myself.

So I decided to change that. I retrained as a Full Stack Developer at NOVI College. Because I no longer wanted a gap between idea and execution.

An idea, a business, something that needs to go online but nobody quite knows how? Tell me. I work out what is needed, design it, write the copy and build it myself. No detours, no separate specialists working past each other: one person, from first idea to the day it goes live. If something falls outside my field, I'll say so honestly. From idea to something that really works: that's what makes me happy.
